Zermatt Resort

We were able to get away for a fun little trip last weekend. Jeremy had a conference for work up at the Zermatt resort in Midway, and he had a nice big room so Jake and I decided to tag along.

It was such a nice place!!

Jaime and Banning were able to come with us, which was nice because I had someone to hang out with while Jeremy was in all of his meetings. We went to the outlets in Park City and played a little shuffle board. Later that night we went swimming in the pool which was amazing! There was a waterfall going into the hottub, the ceiling was painted like the sky and had lights that changed the color of the ceiling, and the pool was one that is both indoor and outdoor. I hope that makes sense. I don't know how else to describe it. Anyway, it was a lot of fun.

The next day I got a pedicure and Jake and Jeremy went on a helicopter ride. Jake loved being on the tarmac with all of the airplanes up close. This video was from their ride. I thought it was pretty funny. I guess at first Jake was a little nervous and didn't like wearing the headphones but after a little while he enjoyed it.

The only bad part of the whole weekend was that one night Jake woke up shaking. I wasn't sure if he was cold or having a bad dream or what. I pulled him into our bed and he went back to sleep but he was still shaking and moaning. It was so scary!!! I had never seen him act like that before. Around 3am he threw up and then he got a fever. After that things seemed to calm down a little. The next day he was totally normal other than having a little bit of a runny nose. It was so weird! I'm glad it wasn't something more serious.
