Family Reunion

So we just had our annual Rowley Family Reunion. It was a lot of fun but crowded. Our family is starting to get really huge! It's fun though. I love spending time with all my family.

We stayed in Island Park and was able to visit Yellowstone. Jeremy had never been and the last time I was there I was around 10. It was a perfect time of the year to go. It was slightly chilly but not too bad, and there were hardly any crowds. It is such a strage but beautiful place. It's weird to see smoke and boiling water in the middle of nature. It looks like there are fires everywhere.

We saw lots of animals- elk, wolf, birds, eagles, buffalo, but no bears. The buffalo were a hit with Jake. He got so upset when we wouldn't let him pet one. We had to stop in the town right outside of Yellowstone so he could give a fake one a hug!

We went on an awesome hike to see a couple of waterfalls in the park! Jake really enjoyed it. There were a lot of stairs to go down as we hiked into the canyon and I wasn't sure how he would do, but he absolutely loved it! He didn't want to be carried. He wanted to do it all by himself one step at a time. It took us a while but we finally made it! It was so beautiful!
