So a few days ago I woke up to hear Jake's little voice coming from his room...
Mommy, good morning!
I climbed out of bed and walked into his room. He had a huge smile on his face and wanted me to open his blinds so he could see the sunshine. (This was a few days ago before it snowed!) It was such a great start to the day. Too often I'm reluctant to pull myself out of bed and get the day started. It was a good reminder that I should have a better attitude and be glad that I get to spend the day with my family.

oh that is so cute... I See you blogged this while our husbands were hanging out with there Halo wifes... I did the same thing :-)
Isn't it great to have the first thing you see is your little ones smile and they did it for you. Good for you and not letting Jake pet the buffalo. When I worked there we had this dad try and put his son on one to ride. Needless to say it didn't end well, Dad got really hurt. Stupid people.
How adorable. I always wish that I had the mentality of a child. They can't wait to get up in the morning and start the day!
Jake is so dang cute. I bet you love waking up to that little adorable smile. What a stud! It looks like your family reunion went really good too. Nice and naturous! (Is that even a word?) :)
That's the cutest thing I've ever heard. Oh, what we learn from our kids. :)
