So this last week has been crazy! Jeremy goes out of town and of course I have a ton of stuff to do. One of Jeremy's old roommates and his wife and baby came to stay for the week. Our place isn't very big so at times it was a bit chaotic. By the end of the week I was exhausted! It was fun to see them though. I also had a party for a friend of mine who is selling vinyl lettering, had an activity for my calling (I'm the Activity Days Leader), ran a 5k, cleaned my house and did a bunch of laundry, stayed with a friend, and went on a hike! Busy!
Jeremy got home Monday night. It is so good to have him home! For some reason this trip seemed really long. He came home with a beard and that was a little weird. I've never seen him with that much hair on his face!
Tuesday night we had a family outing to Hee Haw Farms. We had a blast! They had all kinds of activities that were perfect for Jake. We went on a walk around the pumpkin patch, played in a sandbox filled with corn, looked at the farm animals, and went on a hayride. They had the biggest pig that I have ever seen! It was enormous! I had no idea that pigs got that big. It probably could eat me.
After Hee Haws we were in a Halloween mood and decided to go get pumpkins and decorations for our front door. Jake picked out a pumpkin for each member of our family and one for his cousin Kayley.
Today Jake started preschool (don't worry I didn't cry). A bunch of the families in our neighborhood are doing the joy school thing. He had such a great time. He loves to play with other kids and I think he'll enjoy getting out of the house for a while. They learned about the letter "A" and he came home with a couple of pictures that he painted as well as an apple. It's so fun seeing him grow. He's so smart and I can't believe how big he's getting. It really does make me want to cry. He makes me laugh all the time. Today after lunch we went out on the porch and blew bubbles. The wind was blowing the bubbles way up into the air and Jake told me that the bubbles were going to their Grandma's house in the sky. He cracks me up!
I also decided to give my blog a new look. Everyone was getting these cute blogs and I wanted to update mine too! It took a while to figure out but I think I finally got it with help from Jaime and Banning. Thanks!
