Well, we're back in Utah. Our plans have changed once again! Work was slow in Arizona so we decided to pack things up and come back home. I think we were all happy with the decision. It has been a long summer. We all wanted to get back and enjoy the fall. I've been aching to go to football games, fly kites, take drives up the canyon, and decorate for Halloween. Jeremy is currently looking for a job. He has a couple of prospects and we're hoping that one of those will work out soon. Jake was really happy to be back. He's been pretty obsessed with his star wars toys and was excited to find that he had a bunch at home that he hadn't played with all summer.
On our drive home we decided to make a stop at the Grand Canyon. We had never been before and figured this would be as good of a time as any. It was definitely big and grand, although Jake wasn't super excited to see it. I think he would have enjoyed it a little more if were able to hike and do a few other things.
I get a little paranoid around heights. I'm always afraid that someone is going to accidentally fall. I had a death grip on Jake to make sure he survived.

Okay, just looking at those pictures made my stomach do somersaults. I hate heights, but how beautiful it is there! I am glad you will be home now, we all need to get together now that you are home!!!:)
How fun! i love the grand canyon. I am so happy you guys are home. Home is the best place to be in the fall. Lets do that picnic soon, before its too cold.
Wow! I am so excited for you guys! Now you'll have one of each. I really love the name you picked out. Brian had an ex-girlfriend name Ellie and I always thought it was such a pretty name. Good choice. Miss you guys too.
I am glad you're back in Utah, but how lucky are you to have such a fun summer? I completely agree with you about the heighths thing--I always think someone is going to fall. Anyway, Congrats on the baby girl. I am so excited for you!!
