Happy Birthday Jake! Today is Jake's 3rd Birthday! I can't believe how fast it has gone by. We love him so much and are so grateful that he is part of our family! I can't even remember what life was like without him. He is such a good kid. He very rarely disobeys and he has such a sweet personality. He truly makes our home a wonderful place and we are so blessed that he came to our family! We love you Jake!!

I love the slide show! They are so much fun :) I totally forgot that he had to wear the helmet :( He has such bright blue eyes that make me smile when I see pictures.

Hooray for being 3! Jake has the most unforgettable eyes I have ever seen.
Potty training.... uugh! Tonight is not a real high on my list of potty training days. We had our first really horrible messy accident in underwear tonight. I'll spare you the details. However, he has really done well. Blake seems motivated by his stickers, and M&M potty treats. I have also thought that when he hits a plateau that I will change his chart into something like five stickers = a prize. And a whole sheet of stickers = something bigger like kangaroo zoo. I have also seen an idea for a family potty chart. Hang it in his bathroom and any time anyone in the family goes potty they get to make a check. It might make it kind of like a competition. I don't know if that will work, but I think I'll try it for Blake too when he needs something else. All in all, going naked was the best thing for Blake. Once he had on underwear or pullups, he seemed to forget. But after two weeks, we're making small forward steps. Each day he gets better and is now wearing underwear and/or pullups and pants and is able to pull them off and run to the potty. I can't push too hard with Blake or he will rebel, so I have to make it his thing. Good luck!
HE IS SUCH A STUD! Gotta love those big blue eyes! Can he be Bailey's boyfriend if he isn't already taken? She likes older guys! :) (kinda creepy--sorry!) Love the slideshow!
