Birthday week...

Jake celebrated a great 3rd birthday. It felt like we were celebrating all week. We did his actual party on Saturday, but we ended up doing a lot of other fun things throughout the week.

Tuesday we were going to go the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving point but it was sooooo windy and the tulips hadn't even come up yet so we decided to change plans and go to the Dinosaur Museum, which Jake absolutely loved!



On Thursday we went to Kangaroo Zoo, one of Jake's favorite places, with a few friends and family. It was super busy because of spring break but Jake was running around like crazy with all of the other kids. He was climbing some of the big slides that I don't think even I could do very well! He had such a great time!





Saturday we had his party at Nielsen's Grove Park. My parents live really close and it is such a beautiful park. It was super windy but Jake loved it! He found some streamers and was having fun watching it blow in the wind.







He's been obsessed with Buzz Lightyear lately. He was way excited for this gift!










His cake was supposed to be a rocket ship. I was trying to make it red but it turned out pink! Oops! Luckily, I don't think he cared.
