We just got home from the Rowley Family Reunion. Always good times...

It was SUPPOSED to be a 6 hour drive but ended up being 7 or 8. Ellie was pretty sick of her car seat by the end of the day. Jake did great. He was just happy he could watch as many movies as he wanted.

Ellie at one of our many stops along the way. This was at Twin Falls.

Jake couldn't have been happier to be camping. He spent all week chasing chipmunks, catching "butterflies" (aka moths), and playing in the dirt.

My Uncle Russ put up a big screen to have a movie night. Jake and Addy got cozy as they watched the movie.

Ellie also enjoyed the great outdoors. This girl had to be covered in the dirt from morning to evening, and for some reason she kept trying to eat it. Why do kids to that? It can't taste good!

We had to get some family pictures in front of the beautiful Sawtooth Mountains. Remember we were all camping... :)

We're getting to be quite a large group. We have several people missing too.

My Mom and sister Lisa weren't planning on joining us, but ended up coming last minute. We were all so glad that they were able to make it. It wouldn't have been the same without them.

My Grandpa and Granny, the people who started it all. I've learned so much from them. I love them and am so grateful for all they've taught me. My Grandpa struggles with depression and my Granny has Alzheimer's. It has been quite the struggle for my family. It's hard to see them like this because I remember how it used to be. At the same time, I've learned a lot about them through these trials. Half the time, my Granny doesn't recognize any of us and I know that she is terrified when she doesn't know what is going on, yet she is still so trusting of others. What a patient man my Grandpa is. He listens to her same comments over and over, and when the rest of us can't handle it any more, he's there for her. He's a great example of true love.

One day we went to an old ghost town. The kids had fun pretending they were in school.

Ellie, once again covered in dirt.

On Thursday, Ellie woke up with a fever. It was so sad. She just laid around all day. Jeremy had been caughing all week and I ended up having some pregnancy issues too, so we decided to head home a day early. We were sad to go, but we had a great time while we were there. I don't think there are many people who love going to Family Reunions, but I really do love it. We laugh a lot, eat a lot, play a lot, and I love each member of my extended family. Thanks for making it a great week!!!

I had to throw these pictures in. Lately, Ellie has been bringing me all of her hair stuff and wanting me to put them ALL in her hair at once. She's such a girl.

I'm glad you took pictures because I took 3. I agree about Granny and Grandpa. They are wonderful examples. I am happy you guys were there. It was weird without Mom and Dad and you are always helping me out. I also love Ellie's hairdo. It's fantastic. Good Post!
