EASTER!!!

Even with all the rain we had a fun Easter. We started out the holiday by attending our neighborhood annual Easter egg hunt. I'm learning that Jake has not inherited my competitive nature. All of the other kids were running as fast as they could to get as many eggs as possible, while Jake was taking his sweet time carefully picking up each egg so his hand wouldn't get too wet from the grass. Silly kid! Doesn't he know that there's candy inside!!! He actually did much better at our family Easter egg hunt. We decided to hide the eggs inside and he seemed a lot more excited to get them.

I was so glad that the weather was a nicer on Sunday! We were able to tell the Easter story and spend time together as a family. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to remember the sacrifice that the Savior made so that we can be together as a family forever!
