Can he really be 4!?

Last week we celebrated Jake's 4th birthday. I can't believe it!

He is such a sweet and good natured kid. He rarely gets into trouble and is always trying to be a good boy. We love him so much!

For his birthday he asked for an apple phone and a computer. I about died!! He must have inherited his Dad's love of electronics. When I told him that those are things that are for big people he BURST into tears. I felt so bad, but there's no way I was forking out that kind of money for his 4th birthday! He'd be asking for a car by the time he was 10. We did get him a little kid computer that he seemed happy with. Friday night we went to the Dinosaur museum as a family. Jake loved it, but the whole time he was asking where the desert was so that he could dig. He was practically running through the whole museum so that he could get to the sand at the end. Saturday we went to the park and had cake and ice cream with our extended family. We played t-ball, shot off balloons, played with water guns and bubbles. It was a fun day.
