Ellie and Jake both had their doctor appointments yesterday. Ellie is 2 months and Jake is almost 4!! I can't believe it! Both are growing up so fast.
Ellie measured 23in tall (90%), 12 lbs 2 oz (75%), and her head was 37.8 cm (25%). Big and chubby with a little head! :) It was about what I thought she would be at. She's getting some of the cutest little rolls right around her thighs! I love it! She did have to get a whole slew of shots. She actually didn't cry as much as I thought she would when they gave them to her, but for the rest of the day I could tell she didn't feel too great. It's so sad to hear her little hurt cry. She's been so much fun lately. She's been smiling more and more, and sometimes it seems like she's getting close to a little laugh. I love to just sit and look at her.
Jake measured almost 34 lbs (25%) and 40 1/2 in (50%). He was actually really excited to see the doctor. Fortunately, he didn't have to get any shots. That might have changed his opinion of the doctor! Lately, he's loved playing games, especially Monopoly. We have the kid version and he absolutely loves it! It has been a good way of teaching him numbers and basic math with the money. I'm amazed at some of the stuff he understands. He's also been really interested in the seasons. He's been asking all kinds of questions about spring and the other seasons. It's been fun. I'm excited to celebrate Easter with him this year. Holidays are so fun with kids!

I loved it when Dallas finally laughed! I can't believe Jake is already almost 4. Time really goes by fast!
They are so cute!! Addie was 12lb 11 oz I think... So fun. It was good to see you guys the other day we need to get together again soon. And did you see I got my jeans, let me know if you want to try some on..
What can I say, you're kids are so adorable!
She is so cute and you can see the smile. It's almost like she is trying "not" to smile just to bug you. Jake looks cute the glasses and tounge.
That's so funny because Christian always is in the 99 percentile for head circumference and about 50 percentile for weight... thin with a GIANT head. :) It runs in the family (joel's side of course), but I think he will just be extra smart. ;) Way cute pics... she is a little doll and growing too fast!
