Our little Ellie is growing like crazy! I can't believe that she has been with us for 2 1/2 weeks! Her two week appointment went great. She is now 21 in long (75%) and 8 lbs 4 oz (50%). She gained a whole pound since the hospital! I can't believe how fast she has grown.
Things are slowing getting back to normal. We had lots of help and meals from family, friends, and neighbors which was greatly appreciated! It's so nice being spoiled for a few days. Jake had a cold last week ,and unfortunately, even with all of our efforts to keep him away, Ellie seemed to get it too. It's so sad to hear her little cough! She still seems to be thriving and doing well, even with a little sickness. She has been more awake and alert and I love looking into her eyes! She sleeps well but still is a little backwards when it comes to day and night. She sleeps so soundly during the day and seems to stir a lot more at night. Hopefully, we'll get that part figured out soon. :)
I also celebrated my 28th birthday on the 2nd! Only two more years to 30! WEIRD! It was a very low-key birthday with the new baby and all, but it was still nice. I'm so happy to have been blessed with a wonderful family. Life is good!!

Oh no! I hope she doesn't get sick! Adorable pictures! I am glad that your delivery went well! 6 hours is great! That gives me hope for this next one! Bailey took 20 hours...Ellie is beautiful!

Hey, so far I've liked my 30's better than my 20's so you only have good things to look forward to... she is a doll and I love the look on Jakes face in these pictures... what a good big brother he is!

I'm so glad you are all doing well and striving. And I'm so sorry to hear about the little colds. It has always been hard for me to keep anyone else healthy when one gets it. No matter what I do, it always seems to go to the baby. I hope everyon is feeling better, and happy late birthday!
