So, we're expecting our second baby!! We are all very excited and looking forward to a new addition to our family. I must admit that I'm getting pretty tired of being sick and nauseous all day every day! I don't remember it being like this with Jake, which makes me think that we're having a girl. Jake thinks that it's a girl too. It's probably a good thing that I don't feel well because it means that everything is good with the baby but I feel bad for poor Jake and Jeremy. Jake has eaten the same thing for the past month and Jeremy has to pretty much fend for himself. Jeremy has been really sweet. He gets up early with Jake so that I can sleep in even though he's been working long hours. I feel like I've totally slacked on all my motherly duties. I know many of you have done this several times before. Any suggestions on what helps?
We rented a "family" bike to stroll the boardwalk at the beach. Jeremy and I actually did the same thing when we were here on our honeymoon and it was a lot of fun to do it again with Jake. He loved sitting up front, even though he doesn't look too excited in this picture. :)

Erin I am so excited you are going to have another baby! I know how you feel with being sick and everything. I have gone through the same thing. But it does get better usually in the 2nd trimester. I am now 15 weeks and the nausea is a little better. When are you due?
yay! congratulations! that's way exciting! i used 'seabands' and they seemed to help. I also pretty much only ate popsicles. the all fruit ones were the best!

I don't have much advice for you, because I don't get sick with my pregnancies. But just take it a day at a time. I'm sure Jake doesn't even notice that he is eating the same food, he probably loves it!! You are a great mom, so don't ever worry about that.

Woohoo! I hope it's a girl too! All my pregnancies were different with my boys and my girls, but hopefully it will get better soon. When are you due? Congratulations girl!
A big halla congrats for you guys! That is so exciting! How far along are you? Everyone her is pregnant or just had a baby. Crazy how that is! Sorry you are sick. I know how that feels!
Congrats!!! What exciting news that you guys are expecting number 2. I hope it is a girl that would be so much fun. I have to tell you that when I was pregnant with my second, I was laying down most of the first and half of the second trimester. I couldn't do much of anything. Don't feel too bad. It is really hard beinf pregnant. I felt bad for Alyssa and Mark like you do. I don't think I cooked one bit when I was pregnant with Drew. It was not fun for any of us. You will feel better soon I hope. Congrats again. When are you due?
Congrats! I can totally relate with the sick part. Just like everyone else wants to know, when are you due? Maybe we'll have our babies around the same time. That would be fun.
Yeah, that's so exciting. My advice with the sickness is to always have food with you. Don't go to long without eating, even if you're not hungrey at the moment, I would eat something every so often so your stomach doesn't get empty. Don't worry about the boys they'll manage. I usually come out of it by week 12. Keep us posted and congrats again.

Erin!!! I am so excited for you guys! I cannot wait for you to find out what you are having for sure. I am never good at telling what people are having. I would have bet on my life that I was having a girl. Clearly I was wrong. I am so sorry that you are not feeling well though...that's no fun! Hurry and come home so we can take care of you.
Congratulations! I am so excited for you. You need to have a lot of kids if they keep turning out as cute as Jake! It looks like a lot of fun riding the bike. :)
Congrats on being prego again! I was REALLY sick with both kids. When I was pregnant with Cooper it was not a big deal (because I did not have another kid to take care of), but pregnant with Ty was really hard. I felt the same way. I used a lot of tv time with Cooper. I tried to read lots of stories with him and I put his snacks in a place where he could get them all by himself. That was I never really had to get off of the couch because everytime i did, I puked. The good thing is that kids love you no matter what. So sleep as much as you can and if the nausea gets too bad the dr can prescribe something for you. That is finally what I had to do. Good luck. Any word when you are coming back???
Hooray!!! I'm so excited for you! That means 4 of us will have babies within a year of each other. When are you due? I know it's been hard the beginning of the year, so i'm so happy you are being blessed! Good luck and we'll continue to keep you in our prayers that you and your baby stay healthy. I've only got 3 weeks till the due date, so hopefully we'll be calling or texting you with his arrival! When do you get back from Virginia?

I add my congratulations and good luck with being sick. The nice thing is that it never lasts forever and in the end you get a beautiful angel (which totally sounds lame right now I'm sure as you're holding your stomach). Keep us posted!!!!
First off, congratulations! I am very excited for you. For the sickness try B6 pills, eating very 2 hours, and I really liked Propel water (it has B6 in it.) BTW- I am so lost, where are you guys right now?
Congrats on the new baby. Sorry I can't be of any help because I have only done it once and therefore only neglected my husband & didn't feel too bad about it.
Erin, that is great news! I didn't know you were pregant, I'm so excited!!! We miss you, Blake talks about Jake a lot and we'll be glad when you're home. He doesn't have any more friends at nursery. Good luck getting thru, 1st trimester is so hard... and sometimes the 2nd... and always the 3rd for me. Oh, but it's worth it!
