Well, we had all kinds of fun plans for our Easter weekend but Jake ended up getting sick. Saturday morning we went to our neighborhood Easter Egg hunt and he just wasn't quite into it like we thought he would be. He collected a few eggs and then he just wanted to hang out in his stroller.
Starting out...
Not feeling too great...
We decided to take him home and try coloring some eggs. He watched us dipping the eggs in the color but he still wasn't too excited about the whole ordeal.
So sad!!!
Poor kid!! He got a fever and had a pretty bad sore throat. Later I found out that several kids in our neighborhood have hand/foot/mouth. Jake has had it before so I thought maybe he had a mild case of it. I felt so bad! Jake is such a great kid even when he's sick! He just wants to lay around and snuggle. I actually really love when he wants to cuddle like that but I wish he didn't have to feel so bad!

Aww poor guy! So what is it that kids have been having? BC Bailey has been acting weird today--and I think she might be sick! I thought it was teething, but maybe she has what is going around--hand/foot/mouth? What is that? I am so confused! :) Sad he was sick for Easter! I hope he feels better!

Oh the poor little guy! It's never fun to be sick but on holidays that is just sad :( Looks like he still had a good time.
I heard all the kids were really sick. It sucks! Easter is a fun holiday, looks like he did have fun at the egg hunt!
I had the sore throat and fever thing too. The sore throat lasted like 5 days!!! Poor guy. Did you find out if he had hand and foot or just the junk going around???

The hardest thing is to see your kid sick and not feel like you can do much. I cant believe how this crazy sickness is so bad this year. Hope he is feeling better!
I'm so sad jake was sick over Easter. What a bummer! Sounds like he was a pretty good trouper.
He looks so said it makes me feel bad for him. I hope he is doing better.
