The other night we tried to do some convincing to Jake that wearing big boy underwear is fun. He thought it was pretty cool and was running all over the place but still didn't really care about going potty on the toilet. Hopefully in a few months we'll tackle that milestone. I'm not sure if posting these pictures is inappropriate or not, but I thought his little bottom looked so cute in those tighty whities!

Cold or Warm
Last Monday we decided to do some sledding for family home evening. We figured if it was going to be cold and snowy we might as well enjoy it. Jake had a blast! My parents have an empty lot next to their house that has some nice hills that were perfect for some sledding enjoyment!
I can't put my arms down!!
At the end of the week we drove down to St. George. It was a fun little trip. Jeremy had some work to do down there and I wanted to enjoy the warmer weather. We went to a couple of the homes in the Parade of Homes and I think we spent about four hours at the park one day. I loved sitting in the sun!! It felt soooo nice! I'm getting pretty anxious for spring and summer. I want to be outside again and be warm!!! I've had enough snow for a while.
We stopped at the St. George temple for a little bit.
Jake and a couple of his buddies, Cyrus and Kale.

Happy Birthday to me and goodbye Elder Rowley!
I celebrated my 27th birthday on the 2nd of February. I must admit that getting closer to 30 is a little strange and 40 doesn't seem so old anymore. They keep coming faster and faster. It's a good thing I'm aging gracefully!! :)
It was a good birthday. Pretty laid back. Jeremy surprized me with a party with family and friends. It was a lot of fun! We played Liars Dice, which is becoming one of my favorite games. I won the last two times I've played. I guess I'm a good liar!
On a different note, my brother entered the MTC today. I never have had this experience before within my family, and I was a lot more emotional than I thought I would be. Two years just seems so long!! I know it will go by fast, but I can understand a little bit of what mothers must be feeling. How scary is it to send your loved ones into a totally foreign place and you can't be there to help?! He'll be such a great missionary. He's very focused and has such a strong testimony. When we were saying our goodbyes he was the one telling me that everything would be alright! I'm going to miss him a ton!
